St Nicholas School, Croydon
A Plus Aluminium has supplied the fenestration for a new, stand-alone building for special needs pupils at St Nicholas School in Croydon.
The striking looking building, designed by architects AK Design, is entirely self-sufficient with ‘green’ features including the highly thermally insulated window system set into timber cladding. The window specification included circular windows as well as tiers of top hung casement windows. The windows’ dark external finish complemented the exterior timber cladding whilst the clean white internal finish ensured the classrooms offered a light learning environment.
