Specifying a safe system needn't mean compromising security and schools increasingly have the need for high levels of security which is why the enhanced security option for these windows make them the perfect choice.  In the absense of a standard industry test for security of sliding windows, our supplier Sapa carried out their own security tests to demonstrate the systems credentials in fronts of a group of headteachers and local authority specifiers.  The results showed the Dualframe Horizontal Sliding Window fitted with enhanced security to resist  repeated attacks using a variety fo common 'break-in' tools. 

Our Dualframe Vertical Sliding Window offers similar ease of use benefits to the end-user and can be specified with anti-ligaturehardware where required making it ideal for projects where the safety of the occupants is paramount - including mental health facilities, detention centres and other 'at risk' buildings.
